About This Project
I keep learning the beautiful art style of Kerala murals, and here is a peacock painted this style. Peacocks are not only gracious and beautiful, but also favorite birds of Lord Krishna in His Vrindavana pastimes. In the iconography of India, Krishna always wears one or multiple peacock feathers, as do many Vishnu forms. During the hot season Deities in the temples are fanned with elaborate peacock feather fans.
